    Description

    Scaffold Services Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager, reporting to the Managing Director, based in our offices in Leicester.

    The candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing, coordinating and motivating a dispersed works team; have a proven industry track record and possess excellent customer service skills. Well-developed communication skills and sound financial/commercial business acumen are also essential.

    The successful candidate would be predominantly office-based but will be required to carry out site visits ensuring sufficient progress on site, meeting of deadlines, planning and ordering of necessary materials, customer liaison and ensuring that the teams are working to continued maximum efficiency. The candidate will be core to the business, customer-facing and a main contact point for sites and clients so a high-level of professionalism is required.

    Candidates are expected to have a demonstrable in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the scaffolding industry and be highly experienced in sourcing and chasing prospective sales leads, contract pricing/estimating, interpreting specifications, designs, drawings, schedules and scope of works. It is also expected that the candidate will display an ongoing willingness to further develop a successful business growth strategy. Building on our existing portfolio of clients and through development of new business, the ideal candidate will be results focused.

    Candidates must also have experience of working closely with large main contractors to assist them to select the best, most suitable access solution tailored to meet their site requirements. They must also have a proven track-record in cradle to grave job management and demonstrate the ability to chase a prospect, price the prospect, win/secure it and deliver it in line with company targets/margins.
    The successful candidate will be required to attend regular senior management and client meetings and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills that are both essential to the role.

    They must be computer literate and show a clear competency in Microsoft Office and Excel. They must also be able to demonstrate commercial awareness, attention to detail and display confidence, resilience and professionalism at all times.
