    Quintessence Safety Consultants Ltd is seeking a Full-time Health & Safety Advisor.

    Role & Responsibilities:
    • Report to Directors and establish strong working relationships across business stakeholders and clients.
    • Actively promote the business and client base by visiting potential clients in the scaffolding and construction sectors.
    • Lead and develop H&S protocols, promoting a positive safety culture.
    • Advise clients regularly on H&S legislation and best practices.
    • Implement and maintain risk and safety management systems.
    • Collaborate with internal teams on audits and address any issues.
    • Offer specialist advice and support on scaffolding, work at height, and general construction H&S.
    • Assist in accident and incident investigations.
    • Complete necessary inspections and audits, including but not limited to, scaffolding and construction site audits.
    • Produce timely reports on inspection findings.
    • Travel nationwide when necessary.
    • Placement areas include the Northwest, Midlands, or South of the UK.
    Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
    • Proven experience in H&S consultancy.
    • Experience in the scaffolding, work at height & construction sectors.
    • Leadership and coaching skills.
    • Innovative mindset.
    • Proficiency in understanding technical designs and temporary works drawings.
    • Familiarity with the NASC suite of guidance documents.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel, and SharePoint.
    • Experience with NASC member companies is a plus.
    • Understanding of ISO principles; Internal auditor qualification is a plus.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • NEBOSH General Certificate (Construction preferred) or equivalent.
    • Qualified CISRS Scaffolder with in-date cards.
    • Member of IOSH (Min Tech IOSH).
    • Continuous professional development.
    • Current, clean driving licence.
    Desirable Qualifications:
    • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
    • CMIOSH or working towards it.
    • Industry qualifications such as SMSTS/ SSSTS/ CISRS Supervisor.
    • ISO IMS internal auditor qualifications.
    • FASET Platform Decking Installer Skilled Worker Card Holder.
    • CISRS system scaffold endorsements.
