    Job Summary: Office Assistant

    The role of this office assistant is perfect for a highly organised individual who is extremely efficient as well as a professional communicator.

    For the successful candidate there will be a range of tasks including HR administration, such as contract /offer letters production, diary management, organising all PPM, assisting with the recruitment duties and all general administration to assist the management level of the company.

    The applicant should also have experience in minuting meetings to allow all information to be documented and tasks to be delegated up on the conclusion of such meetings.

    SCP Group are a Wolverhampton based company working within the UK scaffolding industry.

    Duties include (but not limited to):

    • Assist senior managers with their daily organisational tasks.
    • Arrange meetings and attend them to take detailed minutes.
    • Perform travel arrangements and reservations for senior managers as required.
    • Manage phone calls٫ schedule appointments and organise calendars.
    • Review and organise regular correspondence٫ like invitations and informative material.
    • Review and optimise office policies and procedures.
    • Prepare spreadsheets٫ presentations and statistical and budget reports as requested.
    • Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors.
    • Liaise with the warehouse manager to book servicing or maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
    • Liaise with IT company for any support required, raising tickets for any IT issues.
    • Meet visitors and provide general support to them.
    • Check and order office supplies as required and maintain at the relevant levels.
    • Establish effective working relationships with professional colleagues and be a very enthusiastic team player.
    • Support the continued ISO/BSI audits.
    • Support any other task that may be required to suit the needs of the business.

    The right candidate will possess the following:

    • Fantastic organisational skills.
    • A strong knowledge of Microsoft based software in particular Excel.
    • Willing to work within a team.
    • The ability to create detailed reports.
    • A welcoming telephone voice.
    • Competent in problem solving.
    • Excellent grammar.
