Safety & Access Receives Accreditation For UAE Training Centre

Safety & Access Launch New CISRS Overseas Training Centre in UAE.

Safety & Access are extremely proud to announce that they have become one of first CISRS UK registered training providers to gain overseas accreditation for its scaffolding and access training centre in UAE, close to Dubai.

Courses that are now available include:

CISRS Overseas Scaffolder Level 1 Course – 5 Day
CISRS Overseas Scaffolder Level 2 Course – 5 Day
CISRS Overseas Advanced Scaffold Inspection Course – 2 Day
CISRS Overseas Scaffolding Supervisor Course – 3 Day
CISRS Product Awareness Training (Cuplok) – 2 Day
CISRS Product Awareness Training (Kwikstage) – 2 Day

All training will initially be delivered by full time UK registered instructors and successful completion of the training will result in the Issue of CISRS official Certification and Skills Cards.

An Independent CISRS audit took place during March by Mr D Mosley (CISRS Scheme Manager) visiting from the UK which resulted in successful accreditation to the new CISRS Overseas Scaffolder Training Scheme (OSTS)

Primarily serving the oil and gas and construction businesses, site based training also available. It is the firm intention of Safety & Access to expand its training operations and support to other Middle East locations such as Qatar, Saudi, Oman and Abu Dhabi.

At the time of the CISRS accreditation the centre is the largest registered facility in the Middle East which can also offer accommodation and catering for attendees of courses at the UAE facility.

The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS), previously known as the CITB Scaffolder scheme is the occupational training standard for the scaffolding trade within the United Kingdom. It is one of the oldest trade card schemes in existence and has been available for over 35 years. CISRS has continually strived to maintain the highest standards in scaffolding sector training and has introduced the Overseas Scaffolder Training Scheme (OSTS) in order to offer its’ accredited training to those outside the British Isles.

Other overseas operations include training and third party inspection throughout other regions throughout the world including Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and the Far East including South Korea and China.
