An Independent CISRS audit took place during March by Mr D Mosley (CISRS Scheme Manager) visiting from the UK which resulted in successful accreditation to the new CISRS Overseas Scaffolder Training Scheme (OSTS)

Primarily serving the oil and gas and construction businesses, site based training also available. It is the firm intention of Safety & Access to expand its training operations and support to other Middle East locations such as Qatar, Saudi, Oman and Abu Dhabi.

At the time of the CISRS accreditation the centre is the largest registered facility in the Middle East which can also offer accommodation and catering for attendees of courses at the UAE facility.

The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS), previously known as the CITB Scaffolder scheme is the occupational training standard for the scaffolding trade within the United Kingdom. It is one of the oldest trade card schemes in existence and has been available for over 35 years. CISRS has continually strived to maintain the highest standards in scaffolding sector training and has introduced the Overseas Scaffolder Training Scheme (OSTS) in order to offer its’ accredited training to those outside the British Isles.

Other overseas operations include training and third party inspection throughout other regions throughout the world including Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and the Far East including South Korea and China.
