The annual campaign, operated by the Scaffolding Association, aims to raise the profile of the scaffolding and access sector and highlight the contribution it makes to construction and the wider economy.

This year’s campaign will again give companies and individuals a range of ways to get involved.

The Fastest Fixer challenge is returning, giving scaffolders the chance to compete for the Golden Podger, while nominations are also being invited for the annual ScaffStar recognition programme.

ScaffStars highlight people from across the industry who have made a difference through their work, mentoring, training, charity activity or contribution to their colleagues and wider community.

Businesses can also download a National Scaffolding Week social media toolkit and share their own projects, workforce stories and careers content during the campaign.

The organisers say the scaffolding sector contributes around £2.86bn a year to the UK economy and supports approximately 34,000 scaffolding operatives across more than 6,000 companies.

National Scaffolding Week has developed into an annual opportunity for contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, training providers and scaffolders themselves to promote the industry’s skills and career opportunities to a wider audience.

Companies taking part are being encouraged to share their activity using the #ScaffWeek and #NSW hashtags.

National Scaffolding Week 2026 runs from Monday 5 October until Friday 9 October.
