Scaffold Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Design Engineer to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Working closely with our Operations Team, this is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with a range of clients

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meet all necessary local design codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draw, update, and maintain designs
• Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer responsibilities
• Ensure that all design projects are completed within timelines
• Work in conjunction with the team
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and review structures

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Scaffolding Engineering or relevant technical degree/ Engineer Designation
• CAD experience
• Knowledge of scaffolding equipment (Allround System) and methods
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• An understanding of the construction process

The candidate will have an interest in relocating to Canada. Relocation allowance. Work visa/ sponsorship will be arranged. Training in local methods and codes provided.
