Description

We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team. 

TONE Scaffolding Services is one of the UK’s most reputable scaffolding companies with a strong track record in the industry. We are committed to continuously achieving excellent safety standards, providing the best quality services and products to clients and only employing highly qualified and experienced operatives and staff. 

TONE Scaffolding operates all over the UK. We have multiple divisions that are able to work together and / or separately to cater to a vast number of access requirements. We are based in modern, open plan and spacious offices in Outwood, near Redhill and are lucky to have a lot of outdoor space. 

Due to the growth of our award-winning company, we are seeking a full time Estimator to join our Contracting Department. The successful candidate will work alongside existing staff including estimating, contracts and quality management. 

As an estimator you will be meticulous and diligent with excellent attention to detail and will have a flexible approach to achieving the end goal. 

This role will include but not be limited to: 

  • Overseeing cost analysis 
  • Overseeing all cost implications relating to the bid and tender 
  • Ensuring bids are accurate and competitive 
  • Production of cost plans and budgets and regularly updating and managing cash flow forecasts 
  • Supporting your estimating colleagues with any business development related queries they may have 
  • Attending sites during the tender process and beyond 
  • Experience of pricing work under various forms of contract including NEC 

 

We would like to hear from applicants who have: 

  • A relevant qualification in construction management and/or significant relevant experience 
  • A flexible approach to meet the demands of the business 
  • Excellent IT/Reporting skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, possessing the natural ability to be front of house and represent the business appropriately at all levels in all forums 
  • The right to work in the UK. Please note that we are unable to sponsor visas for this position
