Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join Embassy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling within a yard environment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate equipment safely while ensuring that the yard remains organised and efficient.
Duties
- Load and unload materials from lorries using forklifts and other equipment.
- Manage inventory
- Maintain a clean and organised yard, ensuring that all materials are stored correctly.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the yard.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a yard particularly with scaffolding material is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Forklift certification is advantageous
