A TOUCHING tribute has been made to a hospital’s oncology department in memory of former patient Lance Suggett.

The 59-year-old scaffolder died in November and at his funeral his family and partner Audrey Lauro requested donations for the unit at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, instead of flowers.
A huge £620 was collected and Audrey added another £380 – taking the total to £1,000 – from collections which had come from scaffolders from Capes, ERS and Interserve.
Audrey said: ‘We’d like to thank everyone for the support and kindness we’ve received.’
