Maintenance contractor Armour has saved 75 jobs at scaffolding specialist Hadley Southern after buying the business from administrators.

South London based Hadley went into administration last month but has now been sold to Armour.

Ned Ailyan, Senior Partner of administrator Abbott Fielding, said: “We are pleased to advise the sale of the business as a going concern to Armour Contracts Ltd.

“The sale has safeguarded 75 jobs and all the contracts of the company and will ensure continuity of the business.”

The company will now trade as a wholly owned subsidiary of Armour.

Ed Champney Jnr, Managing Director of Hadley said: “We are all extremely pleased that a deal has been structured to allow the business to continue trading and retain all of our staff and clients.”
